The Butterfly's Colors

It is a bright summer day.

Many flowers are open now.

A pretty butterfly comes to my garden.

It sits on a red flower.

"Hello! What color are you?" I ask.

"Look at my wings," says the butterfly.

One wing is yellow.

The other wing is blue.

"You are yellow and blue!"

The butterfly flies to another flower.

Now I see a new color.

There are orange spots too.

"You have three colors!" I say.

"Yes, I am very colorful," it says.

The butterfly dances in the air.

Yellow, blue, and orange move together.

"What color is your flower?" it asks.

"My flower is pink," I say.

We look at all the colors.

The garden is like a rainbow.

"Colors make me happy," says the butterfly.

I smile at my new friend.
