Do You Have Milk?

It is a hot afternoon.

An old man comes in.

"Hello," he says.

"Do you have milk?" he asks.

"Let me look," I say.

I open the fridge.

Oh no! It is empty.

There is no milk.

"I am sorry," I say.

"There is no milk today," I say.

"Do you have juice?" he asks.

"Yes, we have juice," I say.

"There is apple juice and orange juice."

"I want orange juice, please," he says.

I pour the juice into a cup.

"Here you are," I say.

"Do you have a sandwich too?" he asks.

"Yes, we have many sandwiches," I say.

He orders an egg sandwich.

"Thank you. You are kind," he says.

I must buy more milk soon.

Tomorrow I will remember.
