Big and Small

The twins walk until the sky is dark.

Night comes slowly over the quiet island.

On a big stone, there is a riddle.

Tina reads it in the soft moonlight.

"I am small in the day, you see."

"But I am big and bright at night."

"I live high up in the dark sky."

"What am I? Please wait for night."

"Small in the day, big at night," says Tim.

"It is high up in the dark sky."

Tina looks up at the night sky.

"Something big and bright is up there."

"I think the answer is the moon!"

The moon is big and bright at night.

In the day, the moon looks very small.

The moon is high up in the sky.

"Yes! The answer is the moon!" says Tim.

The big stone glows with soft light.

A new path shines under the bright moon.

"Five riddles down, three to go!"

The tired twins rest under the stars.
