Shopping at the Store

On Saturday, I go shopping.

I need some food for the week.

First, I go to the supermarket.

I take a basket.

I buy milk, bread, and eggs.

I also buy apples and vegetables.

The apples are fresh and cheap.

Then I look for coffee.

I cannot find it.

I ask a worker, "Excuse me, where is the coffee?"

She says, "It is on aisle five."

I say, "Thank you."

I put the coffee in my basket.

At the checkout, I wait in line.

The cashier scans my items.

She says, "That is twenty dollars."

I pay with my card.

She gives me a receipt.

"Have a nice day!" she says.

I put the food in my bag.

Then I walk home.

Shopping is easy when I know some English words.
