Tuesday: The Animal Clinic
Yuna holds a scared little puppy
On Tuesday, I visited a small animal .
The , Dr. Mori, welcomed me with a smile.
Many pets were waiting quietly with their owners.
A small brown was shaking near the door.
"This is ," Dr. Mori told me softly.
"Please him while I check him," she said.
I picked up the and held him close.
His little heart was beating very fast against me.
"It is okay. I am here with you," I whispered.
The looked up at me with big eyes.
Slowly, he stopped shaking and became more calm.
Dr. Mori checked his ears, eyes, and small paws.
"You are helping me very well," she said kindly.
Next, a cat with a hurt leg came in.
I am holding the cat while the doctor works.
Dr. Mori cleaned the and wrapped it carefully.
The cat cried, but soon it felt much better.
"Animals cannot speak, so we must watch them," she said.
I learned to read the pets' faces and sounds.
At noon, we fed the animals in their cages.
I gave water and food to a sleepy rabbit.
The work was busy, but every animal needed love.
"You have hands, Yuna," Dr. Mori told me.
I went home tired, but the stayed in my heart.
