The Real Treasure
Fin learns what the map truly hid
Inside the box, there were many old letters.
There were no gold coins and no jewels at all.
The letters were from sailors of long ago.
Each told a story of one .
"These are letters from our old crew," the captain said.
"Every sailor has left a in this box."
I picked up one soft and yellow .
"I have found the best friends of my life," it said.
Another said, "The sea has changed me."
I read the words slowly with wet eyes.
"Where is the gold?" Bran asked with a .
"This is the real treasure," Captain Vela said.
"Friends are more than gold coins."
I looked at Rosa, Bran, and the captain.
We have shared storms, fear, and together.
Suddenly, I understood the secret of the map.
The real treasure was here, all around me.
I laughed, and warm ran down my face.
"I have found my treasure too," I said.
Each of us wrote a new that night.
We placed our letters in the old box.
Then we sailed home under a blue sky.
I have become a real sailor on this .
And I have found a on the sea.
