The Blue Marble
Noa watches the Earth from the window
My favorite place on the station is the big window.
Every evening, I float here and watch the Earth.
From space, the Earth looks like a blue .
The oceans are bluer than any picture on my phone.
The clouds are whiter and softer than snow.
Space around the Earth is darker than a winter night.
The Earth is much more beautiful than I imagined.
I can see the , the land, and the clouds.
At night, the cities like tiny golden dots.
The lights of big cities are brighter than small towns.
From here, the world looks smaller and more .
There are no lines between countries in space.
The Earth turns slowly, and I never feel bored.
A over the sea looks like white cream.
This is more than any place on Earth.
My captain floats next to me and smiles quietly.
"The Earth is our only home," she says softly.
I take many photos, but they are not enough.
A photo is always smaller than the real thing.
The real Earth is bigger and more alive than photos.
I want to this moment for my whole life.
Every day, I love this blue more and more.
It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen.
Slowly, the Earth turns, and another day ends here.
