The Clock Glows
It is time for Takumi to go home
That , a soft light filled the quiet air.
The old clock appeared right in front of me.
Its golden hands were glowing with warm light.
"It is time to go home," a low voice said.
My heart became heavy with sudden .
I ran quickly to find Ken one more time.
Ken was under a big, old tree.
"Ken, I must now," I said.
"I will go far away tonight," I told him.
"Will I ever see you again?" Ken asked sadly.
"Maybe , in a different way," I said.
"I will never you, Ken," I promised.
Ken gave me one of his best drawings.
It showed the river and a bright, round sun.
"Keep this picture, my good friend," Ken said.
"I will keep it ," I answered warmly.
Tears filled my eyes, but I still smiled.
"Paint many beautiful things for the world," I told him.
"I will, I promise you that," Ken said.
The clock's light grew brighter and brighter.
"Goodbye, Ken. Chase your big dream," I whispered.
The warm light wrapped around my whole body.
I waved to Ken until he disappeared from view.
Then the bright light gently carried me away.
