A Choice to Make

Torn between family and love, they find honesty at last

For three days, the two cafes stood silent and cold across the street.

Leo could not sleep, and his father's words repeated in his head.

His father wanted him to take over the cafe and forget the girl.

Leo had always planned to run the family business one day.

But now that plan and his heart were pulling in different directions.

On the fourth evening, Hannah waited for him at the river bench.

Leo came late, looking tired, and sat down without a word.
