The Shadow Follows
A run toward the valley of light
The friends ran toward the last valley of light.
The path was narrow and full of stones.
Behind them, the dark shadow was growing bigger.
"It is going to us!" Pip cried in .
" faster! Do not look back!" she shouted.
Leo held the two keys tight against his .
"We are going to reach the light," he said, breathing hard.
The cold shadow slid over the ground like black water.
"Turn left here! Follow me!" Pip called from the air.
Leo jumped over a fallen tree and kept running.
"We are going to behind those big rocks," he said.
"No, don't stop! Keep moving!" Pip shouted again.
The shadow was close, and the air felt cold.
"Give me your hand!" Leo said to the little fairy.
Pip landed on his shoulder and held on tight.
"We are almost there. Don't be afraid," Leo said.

"The third moon is going to help us!" cried Pip.
They ran into the light of the valley.
The shadow stopped at the of the light.
It could not move into the warm, air.
Leo and Pip fell down, tired but .
"We are going to find the last key here," said Leo.
The shadow waited quietly in the dark trees.
